Artist Profile
Adrian Trujillo Centeno is an Assistant Professor of Theatre Studies at California State University, Long Beach, and co-editor of the upcoming publication Stages of Belonging: Plays from the Latinx New Play Festival (Bloomsbury). He’s developed and supported new works at South Coast Repertory, La Jolla Playhouse, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Cleveland Play House, Yale Indigenous Performing Arts Program, Ojai Playwrights Conference, and New York Stage & Film, among others. Adrian earned his master’s degree from UC Santa Cruz, where he was recently honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award. He is also the Artistic Director of Seven Devils New Play Foundry.
